THE LAST CHURCH 3

Thirdly, the matter of His counsel to the church.
"...buy from me... " is his invitation for a transaction. To buy means to obtain (something) in exchange for money. How do we buy and at what cost?'
He said."...he that had no money, come ye, buy and eat, yea come buy wine and milk without money and without price. (Isaiah 55:1)  The Lord's transactions are done not with money neither is there a price because they are actually priceless. Then with what can one transact with the Lord? What do I have that could ever be of worth to the Lord? The Lord had asked us a  pertinent question we all should consider. Mark 8:36-37 says
"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? From this, we have an idea (which I must say is nothing near) to the value God places on one soul. If it were humanly possible for a man to be given the whole world in exchange for his soul, such a man would have made no profit from such a transaction.
"Then the devil lead Jesus to the top of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and all the wonderful things in them. The devil said, if you will bow down and worship me, I will give you all these things"  Matt 4: 8-9.
The devil was willing to offer the world and all its glory for what was to him a worthy exchange- Divinity in the form of a human soul. But Jesus knew that gaining the whole world and its glory was far worthless to the value of the human soul. Another insight we gain from this is how the transaction can be made -'bow down and worship.'   A very simple act! The soul is made for worship. This ability of the soul for worship is what makes it priceless!  Man does not need any learning or training to know how to worship. Its what it was made to do or give and it is the easiest task for the soul to perform. The problem is however in what or who the soul has chosen to give worship. Jesus said to the woman at the well,"You worship what you do not know.." Friends, what or who do you worship? The soul is capable of worshipping just anything, anything that catches its fancy. Worship is defined as devotion or ardent love to or for a deity, or something. Friends, I ask again, Who or what do you worship?
God is seeking for worshippers.
